Christine Boddicker, mezzo-soprano, has been praised for her “powerful, multi-colored mezzo” (South Florida Classical Review) and "entrancing presence" (Chicago Classical Review). Christine is a current Jan Miller Studio Artist at Pensacola Opera, and will be returning to Des Moines Metro Opera in the summer as a 2026 Apprentice Artist. In the 2025 season, Christine also made her debut with Haymarket Opera in Euridice by Jacopo Peri.
Christine is an alumna of several prestigious training programs including Des Moines Metro Opera, Cedar Rapids Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Indianapolis Opera, Janiec Opera Company at Brevard Music Festival, Opera Steamboat, and Miami Music Festival. Her notable roles include Stéphano (Roméo et Juliette), Lola (Cavalleria rusticana), Nerone (L'incoronazione di Poppea), Sesto (La clemenza di Tito), Angelina (La Cenerentola), Sesto (Giulio Cesare), and Mercédès (Carmen).

Highlights of Christine’s 2023–2024 season include house debuts with Lyric Opera of Kansas City and Ars Lyrica Houston, as well as concert appearances with the Grant Park Chorus. She also participated in the world premiere of The Haberdasher Prince, a family opera commissioned by Lyric Opera of Kansas City.

Christine also took part in several virtual projects including the virtual premiere of ZOOM Speed Dating Tonight! as Dater #44 with the Janiec Opera Comapny in the summer of 2020, operatic scenes with Miami Music Festival, Sally in A Hand of Bridge with the Moores Opera Center, where she also contributed video graphic editing (see Creative Studio).
Christine has been recognized in several vocal competitions. She was a finalist in the 2022 San Antonio Tuesday Musical Club Young Artist Competition, a semi-finalist in the 2022 and 2023 Houston Saengerbund Awards, and the first-place winner of the 2021 MIOpera Voice Competition, where she previously won second place in 2019.

Christine holds a Master of Music degree in vocal performance from the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston, where she studied with mezzo-soprano Melanie Sonnenberg. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Michigan State University under the guidance of mezzo-soprano Jane Bunnell.
